How to Make Ultimate Cozy Slow Cooker Beef Stew
  1. Cube the beef chuck roast into hearty pieces, about 1-2 inches.
  2. In a skillet, sauté the onions and minced garlic over medium heat until they're translucent, about 5 minutes.
  3. Layer the cubed beef, sliced carrots, chopped potatoes, sautéed onions, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and bay leaves into the slow cooker. Stir gently to combine.
