Cooking Instructions
- Preheat the Oven to 325°F (165°C).
- Sear the chuck roast in olive oil, seasoned with salt and pepper, for about 4 minutes on each side.
- Remove the roast, sauté the onions and garlic in the drippings for about 3 minutes.
- Deglaze the pot with beef broth, scraping up brown bits. Return roast and add vegetables and thyme.
- Cover and braise in the oven for about 3 hours until fork-tender.
- Let the roast rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serve with vegetables and broth.
Notes
Optional: Garnish with fresh thyme for enhanced flavor.
