  • 3 tbsp Olive Oil extra virgin offers a richer taste.
  • 1 tbsp Smoked Paprika regular paprika can be used if you prefer less smoke.
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder 1 clove of fresh garlic can be used instead if preferred.
  • 1 tsp Salt adjust to taste.
  • ½ tsp Pepper adjust to taste.
Optional Add-ins
  • 1 medium Apple Granny Smith or similar varieties work wonders.
  • Caraway Seeds feel free to omit if you're not a fan.

How to Make Sheet Pan Blistered Cabbage and Kielbasa
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Prepare the cabbage by removing the core and shredding it into bite-sized pieces. Slice the kielbasa and onion into thin rounds.
  3. Combine cabbage, kielbasa, onion, olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix until everything is evenly coated.
  4. Spread the mixture in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Roast for 30-40 minutes, stirring halfway through.
  6. Serve hot, optionally garnishing with caraway seeds or a drizzle of balsamic glaze.

Notes

For extra crispiness, turn on the broiler for the last 5-10 minutes of cooking. Keep a close watch to avoid burning.
