Method

How to Make Quick Flavorful Beef and Broccoli Stir Fry
  1. Slice the flank steak against the grain for maximum tenderness. Chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Set aside.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sliced beef and sauté until browned, about 3 minutes. Remove and set aside.
  4. In the same pan, add minced garlic and ginger. Stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the chopped broccoli, cooking until bright green and slightly crunchy, about 2 minutes.
  6. Return the beef to the skillet, pour in the sauce, and stir well. Cook for another minute.
  7. Serve over steamed rice or noodles. Optional: Sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds.

Notes

Let the sliced beef marinate for 15 minutes in soy sauce for extra flavor. Prevent overcrowding the pan for proper browning.
