How to Make Oven-Baked Cabbage Burgers
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Slice a small head of cabbage into ½ inch thick rounds. Brush both sides with olive oil and arrange on a lined baking sheet.
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef or turkey, chopped onion, minced garlic, smoked paprika, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Add an egg if desired.
- Form the meat mixture into patties and place them on top of the cabbage slices.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes until the meat reaches an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C).
- Sprinkle cheese on the patties and broil for 3-5 minutes until golden and bubbly.
- Garnish with fresh parsley and serve with dipping sauces or a salad.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10-15 minutes.
