- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
- Rub olive oil over both sides of the chicken breasts.
- Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Sear the chicken in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Chop the green onions and prepare the BBQ sauce while the chicken cooks.
- Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, top with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
- Top with green onions and red pepper flakes before serving.
