  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Onion Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Smoked Paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
For the Topping
  • 6 slices Bacon
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese
  • 1 cup Barbecue Sauce
  • 3 tablespoons Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon Red Pepper Flakes (optional)

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Drain on paper towels and crumble.
  3. Rub olive oil over both sides of the chicken breasts.
  4. Season the chicken with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper.
  5. Sear the chicken in the skillet for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Chop the green onions and prepare the BBQ sauce while the chicken cooks.
  7. Pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, top with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes until cooked through and cheese is melted.
  9. Top with green onions and red pepper flakes before serving.
