How to Make French Onion Chicken Sliders
- In a skillet, melt butter over medium-low heat. Add sliced sweet onions and cook for 25-30 minutes, stirring occasionally until they’re beautifully caramelized and golden brown.
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken with half of the beef base, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
- Add the seasoned ground chicken to the skillet with caramelized onions. Cook on medium heat, breaking the chicken apart until fully cooked through (about 7-10 minutes).
- Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) and lightly grease a large baking sheet.
- Line the baking sheet with slider buns; scoop the chicken mixture generously onto the bottoms, top with Gruyère cheese slices, and then place the tops of the buns.
- In a small saucepan, melt remaining butter and mix in Worcestershire sauce. Brush this blend over the tops of the buns.
- Place the assembled sliders in the preheated oven and bake for about 20 minutes, or until the buns are golden brown and the cheese is melted.
- Let the sliders cool for a few minutes before slicing into them for easier serving.
