Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat for 5-7 minutes until crispy; set aside on paper towels.

  4. Rub the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
  5. Sear the chicken in the skillet over medium-high heat for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Chop green onions while the chicken is cooking.
  7. Reduce the heat, pour BBQ sauce over the chicken, and evenly sprinkle with cheddar cheese.
  8. Top with crumbled bacon and transfer the skillet to the oven for 10-12 minutes until the chicken is cooked through and cheese is bubbly.
