  • 15 oz Canned Black Beans opt for low-sodium, rinse well
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Lime Juice preferably freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic Cloves medium size
  • 1 cup Cilantro adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Ground Cumin
  • 1 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt adjust for desired richness

Method
 

Directions
  1. Rinse and drain the black beans in a colander until the water runs clear.
  2. In a food processor, combine the black beans, fresh lime juice, garlic cloves, cilantro, ground cumin, and sour cream or Greek yogurt. Blend until smooth but slightly chunky.
  3. Taste the dip and adjust seasoning with salt or extra lime juice as needed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
