Preparation Steps
- Start by spraying your slow cooker with nonstick cooking spray for easy cleanup.
- Place the boneless, skinless chicken breasts at the bottom of the slow cooker. Season with salt and pepper.
- In a separate bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, sour cream, soy sauce, minced garlic, and dried thyme. Mix until well blended.
- Pour the creamy sauce mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is coated evenly.
- Set your slow cooker on low for 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours until the chicken is tender and fully cooked.
- About 30 minutes before serving, crush the Ritz crackers and sprinkle them on top of the chicken and sauce mixture; cover and continue to cook.
- Once cooked, scoop and serve hot, optionally garnishing with fresh parsley.
