Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning mixed with water. Stir until fragrant.
- Unroll the crescent roll dough into a star shape on the baking sheet, overlapping the wide ends.
- Spoon the seasoned meat mixture onto the wide ends of the dough triangles. Top each with shredded cheese and chopped bell peppers.
- Fold the dough triangles over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes until the crust is golden brown. Allow to cool slightly before slicing and serving warm with sour cream.
Notes
For extra flavor, garnish with fresh cilantro or a squeeze of lime. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
