Cooking Steps
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F).
- Combine the chicken pieces with olive oil, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Mix gently until all the chicken is evenly coated.
- Sear the seasoned chicken in a hot skillet over medium-high heat for 2–3 minutes per side until golden-brown.
- Transfer the seared chicken to a shallow baking dish, laying them out evenly to promote even cooking.
- Layer diced cherry tomatoes, shredded mozzarella, and grated Parmesan on top of the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes.
- Garnish with fresh basil and optionally drizzle with balsamic glaze before serving.
Notes
Optional: Add a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for a spicy kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
