  • 2 cans Black Beans canned or soaked dried
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • 1/4 cup Cilantro chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
  • 1/2 cup Sour Cream or Greek Yogurt
  • to taste Salt
Optional Toppings
  • 1/2 cup Chopped JalapeƱos add to taste
  • 1 medium Diced Avocado
  • 1/2 cup Shredded Cheese

Method
 

Making the Dip
  1. Start by rinsing and draining the black beans thoroughly.
  2. In a food processor, combine the black beans, lime juice, minced garlic, cilantro, ground cumin, and sour cream. Blend until smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust the seasoning, adding salt or extra lime juice as needed.
  4. Transfer the dip to a bowl, cover, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Garnish with additional cilantro and serve with tortilla chips or veggies.
  6. Enjoy your black bean dip!

Notes

For added richness, drizzle with a little olive oil before serving. This dip can be prepared a day in advance for enhanced flavors.
