  • 1 cup Butter Softened
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar Sifted
  • 2 tablespoons Milk or Cream Add gradually to achieve consistency

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease and flour two round baking pans.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and sugar; stir well.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, oil, and vanilla extract until smooth. Fold into dry ingredients.
  4. Divide the batter among smaller bowls, tint with food coloring, and create polka dots in the greased pans.
  5. Pour remaining chocolate batter over colored dollops and bake for 30-35 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cakes to cool for 10 minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely; frost as desired.

Notes

For vibrant colors, use gel food coloring instead of liquid. Also, allow the cake to cool completely before frosting for best results.
