- Start by gathering your bread, cheese, and softened butter. Slice the bread and cheese to your preferred thickness; season the butter with garlic powder if you like an extra flavor boost.
- Generously spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread. Make sure to cover it well for the irresistible crispy texture.
- Lay one slice of bread butter-side down in the air fryer basket. Top it with your chosen cheese and optional ingredients, then place the other slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
