Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add your pasta and cook until al dente, about 8-10 minutes. Drain and reserve some pasta water.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, combine olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and lower the heat. Let simmer for 3-5 minutes until it thickens slightly.
  4. Stir in lemon juice, zest, and season with salt and pepper. Mix well.
  5. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss until well coated. Add reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Fold in chopped basil and grated Parmesan cheese until melted and blended.
  7. Plate the pasta and garnish with additional Parmesan and basil if desired.

Notes

For a lighter dish, substitute heavy cream with cashew cream or coconut milk. Customize with proteins like grilled chicken or shrimp.
