Method

How to Make Garlic Buttered Noodles
  1. Boil a large pot of salted water. Cook the pasta according to package directions until al dente, typically 8-10 minutes. Remember to reserve 3/4 cup of pasta water before draining to help create a lovely sauce later.
  2. Melt 3 tablespoons of butter in a skillet over low heat. Once melted, add the minced garlic, sautéing for about 2 minutes until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Combine the drained pasta into the skillet, using kitchen tongs to toss it well in the garlic butter sauce.
  4. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and keep mixing until it begins to melt and beautifully melds with the noodles.
  5. Mix in a few tablespoons of the reserved pasta water, along with the remaining tablespoon of butter.
  6. Season generously with salt and black pepper, tossing to ensure the seasoning is evenly distributed.
  7. Serve hot, garnishing with extra Parmesan and chopped parsley for a fresh touch.

Notes

Consider adding a sprinkle of red pepper flakes for an extra kick.
