How to Make Cozy Ultimate Wild Rice Stuffing
  1. Rinse the wild rice under cold water to remove excess starch.
  2. In a saucepan, combine the rinsed wild rice with vegetable broth and cook over medium heat for 45-50 minutes.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Sauté chopped onion, minced garlic, sliced mushrooms, and diced celery until softened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Combine the cooked rice with sautéed vegetables, walnuts or pecans, thyme, and sage in the skillet.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  8. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish and spread evenly.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes; uncover for the last 5 minutes.
