Method
 

Making the Blondies
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare an 8×8-inch baking dish by greasing or lining it.
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together melted unsalted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract, blending well.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to wet ingredients, mixing gently to avoid overmixing.
  4. Pour the batter into a prepared dish, spreading evenly. Optionally, add chocolate chips, nuts, or dried fruits.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until edges are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out slightly sticky.
  6. Allow to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before cutting into squares.
