- Prepare the butternut squash by peeling it, cutting off the ends, slicing it in half, and scooping out the seeds.
- Chop the squash into uniform bite-sized cubes, aiming for about 1-inch pieces.
- Whisk together your glaze by combining brown sugar, fresh orange juice, olive oil, cinnamon, and salt in a mixing bowl.
- Toss the squash cubes in the glaze, making sure each piece is evenly coated.
- Spread the coated cubes in the prepared baking dish, arranging them in a single layer. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Drizzle any remaining glaze over the hot squash just before serving.
