How to Make Irresistible Oreo Truffles
- Crush Oreos: Place the Oreo cookies in a food processor or seal them in a bag. Smash until they form fine crumbs.
- Mix with Cream Cheese: In a large bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with softened cream cheese. Blend until smooth.
- Form Balls: Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and arrange on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Chill: Refrigerate the formed balls for 30 minutes or freeze for 15 minutes.
- Melt Chocolate: Follow package directions to melt your choice of chocolate until smooth.
- Coat and Decorate: Dip each ball into the melted chocolate. Add optional toppings while the chocolate is wet.
- Set Again: Return the truffles to the fridge for about an hour to set the chocolate.
Notes
Store Oreo truffles in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 weeks or freeze for up to 3 months. Wrap individually if freezing.
