  • 1 lb Fresh Green Beans Trimmed and cleaned
  • 1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup Consider homemade for extra flavor
  • 0.5 cup Milk Whole or low-fat
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder Fresh minced garlic can be used
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese Can substitute with mozzarella or pepper jack
For the Topping
  • 2 cups Onion Rings Homemade or store-bought
  • to taste Seasonings (Salt & Pepper) Adjust to taste

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a baking dish by spraying it lightly with nonstick spray.
  2. Clean and trim the fresh green beans, removing the ends.
  3. Combine the green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and half of the cheddar cheese in a large bowl. Stir until well blended.
  4. Transfer the mixture into your baking dish, spreading it evenly. Top it with onion rings and the remaining cheddar cheese.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes or until the top is golden brown and bubbly.
  6. Cool slightly before serving.
