Cooking Steps
  1. Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce the heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant—about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth, followed by heavy cream, and stir to combine.
  4. Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  6. Plate the chicken with a generous drizzle of sauce on top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
