Cooking Steps
- Generously season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and dried Italian herbs.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned chicken and sear for 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and fully cooked through. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, reduce the heat and sauté minced garlic until fragrant—about 1 minute. Pour in chicken broth, followed by heavy cream, and stir to combine.
- Stir in grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth. Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over it, and let it simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Plate the chicken with a generous drizzle of sauce on top. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
Notes
Serve with sides like pasta, mashed potatoes, or steamed veggies. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 3-4 days in the fridge or freeze for up to 3 months.
