Making Caramels
- Gather all your ingredients on the counter for the cooking process.
- Line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper for easy removal.
- Combine granulated sugar and butter in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until melted and bubbly, about 5 minutes.
- Carefully add heavy cream and cranberry juice, stirring constantly to achieve a smooth consistency.
- Continue heating the mixture for about 10 minutes until thickened and golden, reaching 240°F (115°C).
