Ingredients
  

For the Chicken Base
  • 4 pieces Boneless, Skinless Chicken Breasts
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Pepper
For the Sauce
  • 1 cup Pizza Sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
For the Toppings
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese whole milk for extra gooeyness
  • 1 cup Pepperoni Slices traditional or turkey
  • 1 cup Sliced Bell Peppers customize with colors
  • 0.5 cup Sliced Olives optional

Method
 

Cooking Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare a baking dish with nonstick spray.
  2. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
  3. In a mixing bowl, stir together the pizza sauce and Italian seasoning until well combined.
  4. Spread a layer of the sauce in the baking dish. Nestle the chicken on top, then pour remaining sauce over the chicken.
  5. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese generously, then add pepperoni slices. Optionally drizzle more pizza sauce if desired.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 10 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  7. Let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving. Garnish with extra pizza sauce, bell peppers, or olives.

Notes

Check internal temperature of chicken should reach 165°F (74°C). Store leftovers airtight in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to 3 months.
