Ingredients
  

For the Cake
  • 1 box Cake Mix chocolate, vanilla, or funfetti
  • 2 large Eggs fresh
  • 1/2 cup Oil or substitute with applesauce or yogurt
  • 1 cup Water as required by the cake mix
For the Filling
  • 1 cup Frosting flavor to match your cake mix
For the Coating
  • 2 cups Chocolate Melts or use white chocolate or colored candy melts
For Decoration
  • Sprinkles/Decorations use any festive toppings like crushed nuts or edible glitter

Method
 

Making the Cake Pops
  1. Preheat the Oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cake mix, eggs, oil, and water. Mix until smooth.
  3. Pour batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  4. Allow the cake to cool completely. Crumble into fine crumbs in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add 1 cup frosting to the crumbled cake and mix until well blended.
  6. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
  7. Melt the chocolate melts until smooth.
  8. Dip each cake ball halfway into the melted chocolate and let excess drip off.
  9. Add decorations while the chocolate is still melted, then let them dry completely.

Notes

For a creative touch, drizzle contrasting melted chocolate over the coated pops.
