  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced

  • 2 cups Beef Broth Low-sodium
  • 1 cup Sour Cream Light versions can be used as a substitute
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Flour

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Slice the beef sirloin against the grain into thin strips for tenderness.
  2. Heat a splash of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the beef strips and cook for about 3 minutes until browned.
  3. Remove the beef from the skillet and add the chopped onions and mushrooms. Sauté for about 5 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in the minced garlic and flour, mixing for about 2 minutes. Gradually whisk in the beef broth and Worcestershire sauce, stirring until sauce thickens.
  5. Return the sautéed beef along with its juices to the skillet. Allow it to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and stir in the sour cream until creamy and smooth; serve over egg noodles, rice, or mashed potatoes.
