How to Make Brazilian Passionfruit Mousse Cups
  1. Prepare the Passion Fruit Pulp: Cut open fresh passion fruits, scoop out the pulp, and strain if desired. If using the concentrate, measure out 1 cup for that zesty flavor.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the passion fruit pulp, sweetened condensed milk, and heavy cream. Mix until homogeneous.
  3. Whip the Mixture: Beat the combined mixture using a mixer on medium speed for about 3-5 minutes, until thickened and creamy.
  4. Taste and Adjust: Taste and adjust by adding more pulp or sugar if desired. Pour into serving bowls.
  5. Chill: Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 2 hours, preferably overnight for a firm texture.
  6. Make the Optional Syrup: Simmer reserved passion fruit pulp with sugar until thickened, then cool. Drizzle over mousse before serving.
  7. Garnish and Serve: Add fresh mint leaves or passion fruit seeds on top for a colorful touch.
