Cake Making Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare two round cake pans by greasing and flouring them.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and a pinch of salt until well combined.
- In another bowl, beat the softened unsalted butter and granulated sugar together until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in the vanilla extract.
- Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet mixture until just blended, being careful not to overmix.
- Gently fold in the fresh raspberries, taking care not to crush them too much.
