  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 2 large Eggs or flaxseed/chia eggs for egg-free
  • 1 cup Milk almond or soy milk for dairy-free
  • 1/2 cup Butter or vegan butter
For the Toffee Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream or coconut cream
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Extract or almond extract for a twist

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and brown sugar.
  3. In a separate bowl, cream together softened butter and eggs until light and fluffy. Add to dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  4. Transfer the chocolate batter into the greased baking dish and spread evenly.
  5. In a saucepan, combine heavy cream, brown sugar, and vanilla extract over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
  6. Bake the pudding for 25-30 minutes. Pour half of the warm toffee sauce over the pudding and serve with the remaining sauce.
