  • 1/2 cup Dried Hibiscus Flowers Can substitute with hibiscus tea bags
  • 1 each Fresh Citrus (lime, lemon, orange) Squeeze juice
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water Optional, adjust according to preference
  • to taste Sweetener (sugar, honey, or agave) Customize sweetness level
  • a handful Mint Optional for an aromatic touch

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Start by bringing about 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a saucepan.
  2. Add dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let them steep for 10-15 minutes.
  3. Carefully strain the hibiscus tea through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the flowers.
  4. Squeeze juice from fresh citrus directly into the cooled hibiscus tea.
  5. Add your choice of sweetener to taste; stir well until fully dissolved.
  6. Right before serving, mix in mint leaves and optionally pour in sparkling water.
  7. Fill glasses with ice, pouring the Hibiscus Bliss mixture over. Garnish with additional slices of citrus or a sprig of mint.

Notes

For a tropical twist, add small pieces of fresh fruit like pineapple or berries. Chill your ingredients for an extra refreshing drink.
