Preparation Steps
- Start by bringing about 4 cups of water to a rolling boil in a saucepan.
- Add dried hibiscus flowers to the boiling water and let them steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Carefully strain the hibiscus tea through a fine mesh sieve into a large pitcher, discarding the flowers.
- Squeeze juice from fresh citrus directly into the cooled hibiscus tea.
- Add your choice of sweetener to taste; stir well until fully dissolved.
- Right before serving, mix in mint leaves and optionally pour in sparkling water.
- Fill glasses with ice, pouring the Hibiscus Bliss mixture over. Garnish with additional slices of citrus or a sprig of mint.
Notes
For a tropical twist, add small pieces of fresh fruit like pineapple or berries. Chill your ingredients for an extra refreshing drink.
