  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger Grated
  • 1/2 cup Orange Juice Freshly squeezed
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce Low sodium recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Brown Sugar Can use honey or agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar Apple cider vinegar as substitute
For the Sauce and Coating
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch For thickening the sauce

Method
 

Preparation
  1. Cut boneless, skinless chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. In a medium-sized bowl, combine soy sauce, orange juice, garlic, ginger, and brown sugar, stirring until well mixed.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and let soak for at least 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat, add oil, and cook the marinated chicken until golden brown, about 5 minutes.
  5. Mix cornstarch with water to create a slurry and stir into the leftover marinade in the skillet, cooking until thickened.
  6. Plate the crispy chicken over steamed rice or noodles and drizzle with the thickened orange sauce.
