How to Make Watermelon Radish Citrus Salad
- In a small bowl, combine olive oil, rice vinegar, maple syrup, and lemon juice. Whisk until smooth and well-blended, adjusting with salt and pepper to taste.
- Carefully thinly slice the watermelon radishes to about 1/8-inch thickness. Arrange them beautifully in a large salad bowl.
- Peel and segment the citrus fruits, catching any juices to add to the vinaigrette. Toss the citrus segments gently with the sliced radishes.
- Sprinkle in the chopped scallions and fresh mint, mixing everything softly to combine the flavors without bruising the ingredients.
- Pour the prepared vinaigrette over the radish and citrus mixture, ensuring all ingredients are coated evenly. Allow the salad to rest for about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle black and white sesame seeds on top for extra texture and a lovely finish before serving.
Notes
Optionally, serve immediately chilled for a refreshing boost. Store leftover salad in an airtight container for up to 2 days.
