How to Make
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9-inch round cake pan.
  2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium bowl.
  3. Beat butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until fluffy, about 3 minutes.
  4. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well, then add lemon juice and zest.
  5. Alternately add dry ingredients and milk to wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
