Method

How to Make Delicious Korean Ground Beef Bowl
  1. Rinse your rice under cold water until the water runs clear. Cook it using your preferred method—stove, rice cooker, or Instant Pot—until tender and fluffy. This typically takes about 15-20 minutes.
  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown the ground beef for 5-7 minutes or until no longer pink. Break it apart with a spatula as it cooks. Drain any excess fat if necessary.
  3. Stir in the minced garlic and ginger, cooking for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Then pour in the soy sauce (or tamari) and sesame oil, simmering for a few more minutes.
  4. Scoop cooked rice into a bowl, then top it with the savory beef mixture. Add any extra vegetables you like, and garnish as desired.

Notes

Optional: Drizzle with a bit more sesame oil for extra flavor before serving.
