How to Make Delicious Baked Fish Tacos
  1. Prepare the Fish: Pat the fish fillets dry and cut them into strips or bite-sized pieces.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: Combine flour, cornmeal, paprika, cumin, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: Whisk together the eggs and buttermilk until smooth.
  4. Coat the Fish: Dip fish pieces into the dry mixture, then egg wash, and back into the dry mix for double coating.
  5. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place coated fish on a greased baking sheet in a single layer.
  6. Bake Fish: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Warm Tortillas: Warm corn tortillas in a skillet over medium heat for about 30 seconds on each side.
