  • 1 cup Plant-Based Milk use unsweetened varieties

How to Make Baked Cornmeal Crusted Tofu
  1. Press Tofu: Start by pressing the extra firm tofu for at least 30 minutes to remove excess moisture.
  2. Cut Tofu: Once pressed, slice the tofu into thick, even pieces, about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Mix Coating: In a mixing bowl, combine the cornmeal, cornstarch, and dried herbs and spices.
  4. Dredge Tofu: Dip each tofu slice into the plant-based milk, then coat with the cornmeal mixture.
  5. Arrange on Baking Sheet: Place the coated tofu slices on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  6. Bake: Preheat your oven to 400°F and bake the tofu for about 25-30 minutes.
  7. Serve: Once crispy, remove the tofu from the oven, let cool slightly, and serve hot.
