- In a large mixing bowl, gently mix together ground beef, ground pork, breadcrumbs, chopped onions, eggs, mustard, parsley, salt, pepper, and additional spices. Ensure just combined to maintain tenderness.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and refrigerate the mixture for 10-15 minutes.
- Using your hands, form the chilled mixture into even-sized patties, approximately ½ inch thick.
- Heat a tablespoon of oil in a skillet over medium heat. Fry the patties in batches, ensuring not to overcrowd the pan. Cook each side for about 5-7 minutes until they're golden brown and crispy.
- Once cooked, serve the Frikadellen hot with your choice of mustard, pickles, or alongside sides like potatoes or a fresh salad.
